Contemporary Dance | Somatic Dance 2026–2027 (LBMS)
A 24-session, one-year course using Laban/Bartenieff Movement Studies to explore the connection between body and mind. Participants observe, describe, choose and combine movement. Beginners and experienced dancers are welcome.

About the teacher
Dance educator, researcher and choreographer, and a CMA (Certified Movement Analyst) specialising in Laban/Bartenieff Movement Studies. She completed graduate study at Ochanomizu University and SUNY Brockport and holds a doctorate in sport and health science.
The course begins in October 2026. Some sessions move because of public holidays or the New Year; the full dates and themes appear on the course page.
