Teaches Cunningham Technique in Tomoko Hirata’s foundational series. The block combines plié, tendu and other basics with varied upper-body positions to build placement, a strong centre and spatial awareness.

About the teacher
Studied at the Merce Cunningham Studio in New York on an Agency for Cultural Affairs fellowship in 1997. He was a member of the Merce Cunningham Dance Company from 1998 to 2009, performing at major theaters internationally.
